(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – The Lauren’s Burg Hill race committee is announcing some much-anticipated changes to this year’s races.

The 4th annual Lauren’s Burg Hill 5-mile and 5K races will now take place in conjunction with the Whiskey City Regatta on Saturday, June 16.

For the first time, the races will begin in downtown Lawrenceburg. The 5-mile run will start at 7:22 a.m. while the 5K Run/Walk will begin at 7:24 a.m.

The courses will have a few minor changes, but the finish line will remain on the 22-yard line of the Lawrenceburg High School football field.

Pre-registration is $30 before June 14 or postmarked by June 8. Entry fee includes a custom tech shirt, medals for division winners, and a chance to win cash prizes. Cost is $40 on race day and includes a t-shirt while supplies last.

A $22 donation can be made by those who choose to hit the snooze button and sleep-in.

All proceeds will benefit Lauren’s Fight For Cure to provide scholarships, assistance to families suffering from pediatric brain cancer and for research.
