Family spokeswoman Jennifer Dzwonar said Monday that the winner wanted to remain anonymous. “The winner is very family-oriented and close with his siblings and parents. He plans to give some money to family, to help family members pay for their education, and maybe earn an advanced degree himself,” Dzwonar said. The winner chose to take the lump-sum cash option of $263.5 million. After taxes, the Purdue graduate and manufacturing plant worker will receive over $189 million. While he plays the lottery frequently, the most the mystery winner had previously won was $100. Dzwonar says the winner will donate some of the winnings to charity, buy a new car and home for himself, and maybe do some traveling. The ticket was claimed under the name Bohemian Financial, LLC.
