The Rising Sun Regional Foundation has awarded 41 seniors with $1,000 scholarships.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - A total of $41,000 in scholarships has been awarded to seniors across Ohio and Ripley counties and the City of Aurora.
Thanks to the Rising Sun Regional Foundation (RSRF), 41 graduating seniors in the the foundation’s southeastern Indiana "grantmaking" region will receive a $1,000 scholarship.
Eligible applicants maintained a six-semester grade point average of 2.75 or higher and plan to attend a post-secondary educational institution.
Winners of the scholarships were drawn at random from the pool of applications that were submitted to the RSRF with an official transcript.
