17-Year-Old Arrested For Groping, Attempted Abduction

The incident occurred Sunday night in Whitewater Township.

(Whitewater Township, Oh.) – A routine trip to the grocery store resulted in a frightening night for a mother and her three young girls.

According to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, a 17-year-old male allegedly groped the three girls and tried to abduct one of the girls that was 10-year-old. The incident was reported at the Whitewater Township Kroger around 10:30 p.m. Sunday night.

The teen was chased from the store by witnesses and into a nearby wooded area. He was taken into custody early Monday morning.

The 17-year-old is charged with three counts of Gross Sexual Imposition and one count of Attempted Abduction. 

He is currently being held in the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Center.
