150-Year-Old Home Damaged In Fire

The residents of the old home near Sunman have been displaced.

(Sunman, Ind.) - A historic home on North Dearborn Road was badly damaged in a house fire Sunday.

Sunman Fire Department was called to the scene on the 9800 block of North Dearborn Road at around 12:30 p.m., dispatchers said.

Two people who lived there were not injured, but they are now staying elsewhere.

A cause is under investigation into what started the fire which damaged that 150-year-old home.

Other departments assisting at the scene included St. Leon, Bright, Miller-York, Morris, and Sunman Rescue 20.
