Scotty McCreery Not In A Rush For Kids

Scotty says there is plenty of time before he will become a father.

(Nashville, TN)  --  Newlywed Scotty McCreery says he and his wife are in no hurry to start a family. 

He told "Taste of Country," they're just fine getting used to being married. 

The couple is getting a dog in January, though.  McCreery joked that before he and Gabi can decide to have kids, they need to make sure that they can "keep the dog going first."
