American Idol's next season will debut in 2020.
(Hollywood, CA) -- Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie will return for Season 3 of "American Idol" on ABC.
The network made the announcement yesterday.
All three judges have been with the show since it first aired on ABC in 2018.
Nationally-syndicated radio personality Bobby Bones will also return as the show's in-house mentor.
