Loretta Lynn Announces Release Date For Album

The 86-year-old country icon is ready to put out a new studio LP.

(Undated)  --  Loretta Lynn is announcing a release date for her new studio album.

'Wouldn't It Be Great' is set to drop on September 28th.

The album is coming out about a year later than expected; the country music icon suffered a stroke in May of 2017 and has been focusing on her recovery.

“This new record means so much to me, but this last year I had to focus on my health and I decided to hold up the release,” Lynn says in a statement. “I’m feelin’ good and look forward to it comin’ out. It was really important to me to be a part of it being released and I’m excited to celebrate with everybody!”
