Lee Ann Womack Honored With Golden Note Award

The "I Hope You Dance" singer is receiving some major recognition for her music career.

(Nashville, TN)  -- Lee Ann Womack is being honored with the Golden Note Award at the 56th annual ASCAP Country Music Award in November. 

The country icon is following in the footsteps of Reba McEntire, Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson and many more. 

The awards show will take place November 12th in Nashville.
