Kenny Rogers’ 1978 hit, “The Gambler,” is being added to the National Recording Registry.

Kenny Rogers’ 1978 hit, “The Gambler,” is being added to the National Recording Registry.

It’s one of 25 titles added to the registry by the Library of Congress.

The titles were chosen based on their “culturally, historically or aesthetically significant” importance.
