JoDee Messina Digs Deep Into Her Spiritual Roots

She was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year.

(Undated)  --  Jo Dee Messina says she's leaning on God during her battle with cancer.

The '90s county hitmaker tells "People" her battle hasn't kept her from recording.

In fact, she says it's helped her dig deep into her spiritual roots.

Messina newest faith-based single is called "Reckless Love."
