(Undated)  --  Garth Brooks says he didn't expect to win Entertainer of the Year at the CMAs last week.

The country music superstar tells "Good Morning America" he was so certain Carrie Underwood would win that he didn't have a speech prepared.

It was Garth's seventh time taking home the night's most prestigious award.
