In Denver, Garth is bigger than the Broncos.

(Denver, CO)  --  Garth Brooks is the new attendance-record holder at Denver's Mile High Stadium.

The country music superstar drew close to 85,000 fans to the venue last Saturday.

That's several thousand more than U2's previous record in 2011.

Brooks' upcoming shows in Eugene, Oregon, Boise, Idaho and Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada all sold out with an hour.
