(Washington, DC)  --  Carrie Underwood, Trisha Yearwood, Emmylou Harris and Thomas Rhett are just a few of the artists who performed during the 42nd Annual Kennedy Center Honors in Washington, DC.

Medallions were presented last night at a State Department dinner.

Honorees this year included Earth, Wind & Fire, Sally Field, Michael Tilson Thomas and Linda Ronstadt.
