"Mercy" is a bonafide hit single for Brett Young.

(Undated)  --  Brett Young is celebrating a multi-week number-one. 

"Mercy" is at the top spot on the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase charts for the second week in a row. 

Young co-wrote the break-up ballad with Sean McConnell. 

His previous chart-toppers included "Like I Loved You," "In Case you Didn't Know" and "Sleep Without You."
