Rising Sun's Cole Scores ORVC Boys Soccer Player Of The Week

(Milan, Ind.) - The Ohio River Valley Conference has named its players of the week for September 3-8.

Milan’s Lexi Hanson is the ORVC Volleyball Player of the Week. The Lady Indians star totaled 37 kills, 14 digs, six blocks, six aces, while completing 97 percent of her serves.

The ORVC Boys Soccer Player of the Week went to Rising Sun’s Landon Cole, who scored a goal and had two assists against Jac-Cen-Del last week.

Southwestern’s Natuski Fukazawa earned the ORVC Girls Soccer Player of the Week. Fukazawa netted a hat trick against Madison.

Katie Hertz, of Southwestern, is the ORVC Girls Golfer of the Week. Hertz shot a 44 and 49 during two separate rounds at Sunrise.

The ORVC Runners of the Week are South Ripley’s Megan Cole and Jac-Cen-Del’s Damon Hughes.
