Whiskey City Challenge Bike Race Returns to Lawrenceburg July 20

Professional cyclists will compete in 12 hi-speed professional cycling races.

(Lawrenceburg, IN) - The Whiskey City Challenge Bike Race will take place Saturday, July 20 throughout downtown Lawrenceburg.

The start/finish line is located at 135 W. High St. Professional cyclists will compete in 12 hi-speed professional cycling races. The cyclists race around a .65-mile course with 4 hairpin turns.

It is a rain or shine event running from one until the conclusion of the final event that begins at nine. Full list of events and start times is below.

  • 1PM – Men’s 60+
  • 1:50 – Junior U15 Boys and Girls
  • 2:25 – Junior 15-18 Boys
  • 2:26 – Junior 15-18 Girls
  • 3PM – Men’s 40+ 4/Novice
  • 3:55 – Men’s 4/Novice
  • 4:40 – Women’s 3/4/Novice, Women’s 40+ 3/4/Novice
  • 5:20 – Celebrity Tri-Cycle Races
  • 5:45 – Men’s Masters 40+/50+
  • 6:40 – Men’s 3/4
  • 7:45 – Women’s Pro Open
  • 9PM – Men’s Pro 1/2/3

No coolers allowed and no outside alcohol permitted inside DORA District.  The Lawrenceburg DORA will be open daily from 11 am to midnight, during which time visitors may purchase alcoholic drinks in approved DORA Cups from participating establishments. With the Lawrenceburg DORA you’re invited to explore, dine, shop, take a stroll, enjoy premier events at the Lawrenceburg Civic Park and much more in our vibrant city.

There will be no Farmers Market this date due to the race.
