Residents in the Wilmington and Aurora areas of Dearborn County, as well as a large portion of Switzerland County, reported power outages overnight. A representative with Southeast Indiana REMC told Eagle 99.3 that the cause of the outage was not clear. There was no estimate on how many customers are affected or a timeline on restoring service. He did say that two crews were in the Wilmington area working on the outage. Switzerland County Emergency Management Agency said power was out through most of the county’s eastern half due to the substation in East Enterprise going down. Crews were working on the issue.
