The department is using "No Shave November" to raise money for a good cause.

(Florence, Ky.) - The Florence Police Department will be growing out their beards.
The department says it is going to hold a “No Shave November” benefit to raise money for the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Cancer Unit.
Each participating officer will make a donation to the hospital in order to be allowed to grow beard next month.
Of course, police officers are supposed to look clean and presentable, so the officers will be keep their beards neatly trimmed, says Capt. Greg Rehkamp.
You are invited to make a donation to the cause by following a link posted on the Florence Police Department’s Facebook and Twitter pages. One-hundred percent of the donations go to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.
“Any and all support for this worthwhile cause is greatly appreciated,” says Rehkamp.
