Ten Displaced After Structure Fire In Aurora

(Aurora, Ind.) - Ten people have been displaced after a structure fire in Aurora.

The fire broke out Wednesday night in the 500 block of Indiana Avenue.

Aurora Fire worked the scene for about six hours with help from several local agencies, including Lawrenceburg Fire, Greendale, Fire, Dillsboro Fire, Hogan Township Fire, Rising Sun Fire and Moores Hill Fire. 

No injuries were reported but damage to the home was estimated at approximately $100,000. 

The American Red Cross is assisting the family impacted. 

A cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Indiana State Fire Marshals Office.
