House District 68 includes all of Dearborn, Ohio, and Switzerland counties and a portion of Jefferson.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - State Representative Garrett Bascom announced this week that he has officially filed to seek re-election to the Indiana House of Representatives, citing a record of delivering results for southeast Indiana.
During the past legislative session, Bascom authored or sponsored five bills that were signed into law. His work at the Statehouse has focused on expanding access to mental health services, strengthening enforcement of immigration laws, promoting a fair and effective justice system, and protecting Hoosier's Second Amendment rights.
"As a husband and a father, I think constantly about the kind of Indiana my kids will grow up in," Bascom said. "That perspective shapes how I approach this job - focused on practical, common-sense solutions that protect families, respect our values, and keep our communities strong."
Before serving in the Indiana House, Bascom worked at the Indiana Attorney General's Office. In 2021, he returned home to southeast Indiana to serve as a deputy prosecutor for Dearborn-Ohio County. After years of public service, Bascom established his own law firm serving southeast Indiana.
"I would be honored to earn your vote and your continued support," Bascom said. "Together, we can keep building a safer, stronger future for southeast Indiana."
