Off-Duty Firefighter Spots Schenley Place Dumpster Fire

Photo by Greendale Fire Department. (Greendale, Ind.) - Greendale Fire Department was quick to extinguish a dumpster fire at Schenley Place on Monday. An off-duty Lawrenceburg firefighter and parademic spotted the fire and called for help. The fire department said on its Facebook page that Engine 310 was first on scene and found a dumpster in close proximity of a six story building under heavy fire load. The blaze was quickly extinguished due to quick response and the off-duty firefighter's fast reporting Lawrenceburg Fire Department assisted Greendale firefighters at the scene.
