Alex Roell earned the win by pitching 5.0 innings with 4 hits and 2 earned runs allowed with 2 Ks. Rising Sun 16, Oldenburg Academy 3 Switzerland County 9, Jac-Cen-Del 3 – Switzerland County got a 3-run homer from Dalton Roark. Logan Drockelman and Cody Campbell each had an RBI for JCD. Rising Sun 16, Oldenburg Academy 3   SOFTBALL South Dearborn 10, Batesville 5 – Kylie Paul went 1-for-3 with 2 RBI for Batesville. Franklin County 12, Northeastern 0 - Kamryn McCool pitched the shutout with 15 Ks. Jac-Cen-Del 11, Switzerland County 1 – What a game for Jac-Cen-Del junior Morgen Carroll. She had 7 RBIs and two home runs in the win. Carroll went 3-for-3 at the plate with 2 runs scored. On the mound, she pitched a 7-inning complete game with 3 hits and one unearned run allowed.     SATURDAY, APRIL 8   BASEBALL South Dearborn 7, Milan 4 – Five South Dearborn players had an RBI: Tristan Rinehart, Alex Smith, Ryan McCracken, Adam Dixon and Trey Thies. Dixon and Hunter Brindley were solid on the mount together, too, combining for 7 strikeouts. South Dearborn 7, South Ripley 2 – South Dearborn’s Tristan Rinehart was 2-for-3 with 3 RBI and a double. Pitcher Alex Smith went 5.0 innings with 9 strikeouts to get the win. South Ripley got an RBI from Bryer Franklin. Lawrenceburg 11, St. Henry (Ky.) 1 Collins 10, Batesville 0 Covington Catholic 11, Batesville 3 – Zach Britton led the Bulldogs with 2 RBI and 2 runs scored on 3-for-4 hitting with a home run and a double. Greensburg 12, South Ripley 4 – Avery Halcomb, Derek Turner, and Jackson Cornett each recorded and RBI for South Ripley. Jac-Cen-Del 14, Oldenburg Academy 4 – Logan Drockelman went 1 for 3 with 3 RBI and a walk to lead JCD at the plate. Connor Toops and Ben Harlemert each knocked in two runs. Michael Flint earned the pitching win by going 5.0 innings with 5 hits, 1 earned run, a walk, and a strikeout. Franklin County 11, Jac-Cen-Del 1 - Kendall McCool struck out 7 in a one-hit, 1-run win. Kamryn McCool was 3-for-3 with a 3-run home run and 4 RBIs.   SOFTBALL Lawrenceburg 6, Rushville 4 Rushville 6, Lawrenceburg 3 Franklin County 11, Jac-Cen-Del 1 – Jodi Muckerheide had JCD’s lone RBI. Horseshoe Classic Pendleton Heights 8, Rising Sun 1 South Bend Adams 9, Rising Sun 4 Madison-Grant 7, Rising Sun 5 Milan 5, Richmond 4 – Milan’s Lexi Wert held Richmond at bay over 7.0 innings. She allowed just 6 hits, 3 earned runs and a walk with 6 strikeouts. Sierra Kern and Alex Dixon each had an RBI for Milan. South Decatur 17, South Ripley 0
