— Devon Still (@Dev_Still71) November 20, 2014 (Cincinnati, Oh.) - Lauren Hill is making a giant gesture towards an NFL defensive lineman. On Thursday, the 19-year-old from Greendale gave her Mount St. Joseph game jersey to Cincinnati Bengals player Devon Still. The two struck up a friendship because Still’s daughter is also dealing with brain cancer. Hill and her family were guests in the Still family's suite at the Bengals home game on November 7. Hill wrote on the jersey, “Forever Lauren And Leah Strong, Never Give Up! Lauren Hill #22”. The former Lawrenceburg High School Lady Tiger and current MSJ freshman wore the jersey in her college basketball debut on November 2. She surprised Still with the gift following the Bengals’ practice. The exchange was featured on "CBS This Morning". Meanwhile, Ridgewood Health Campus, 181 Campus Drive, in Lawrenceburg will have a #Layup4Lauren Challenge on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. All are welcome to participate in the challenge for a $5 donation to The Cure Starts Now Foundation. Food will also be available at Ridgewood Health Campus for a free will donation.
