Hoosier Hills Water Gains Versailles, Holton

By Mike Perleberg (Versailles, Ind.) – A utility company is expanding its service area in Ripley County. The Hoosier Hills Regional Water District announced Friday that the Town of Versailles and the Holton Water Corporation are being added as new partners of the water system. The service began on Friday. “There will be a period of transition from the Town of Versailles and Holton Water to exclusively Hoosier Hills’ water in the those systems,” said Scott Stirn, General Manager of Hoosier Hills Regional Water District. “We are working closely with the Town of Versailles personnel and the Holton Water Corporation Board to insure a smooth transition so that Hoosier Hills Water, with its high quality, will be available to all customers of the Town of Versailles and Holton Water Corporation as soon as possible.” Stirn said the water utility company thanks the public for their patience as the changeover occurs.
