German-Based Company Expanding Its Hebron Facility, Creating 20 New Jobs

By Travis Thayer (Hebron, Ky.) – New jobs are being created in northern Kentucky thanks to the expansion of a German-based company. In 2013, HAHN Automation Inc., announced its plans to invest $3 million for an expansion at its Hebron facility at 3012 Kustom Drive. Construction broke ground in May. The German-based company is a full-service supplier of custom automation equipment for the automotive, household and pharmaceutical industries. “HAHN Automation has been an excellent corporate partner to the Commonwealth for 15 years,” said Gov. Matt Bevin. “The automotive and pharmaceutical industries, two areas of strength for Hahn, help drive Kentucky’s economy, and this latest expansion highlights the company’s continued commitment to the state and the Northern Kentucky region.” The 21,000-square-foot expansion will grow the company’s current facility to 46,000-square-feet. “We are excited to start the next phase of our growth in Northern Kentucky, which has been a tremendous source of talented workforce, quality customers and strong partnerships,” said John Baines, president of HAHN Automation. “Our expansion is the result of the tremendous growth and success we’ve achieved as a leading advanced manufacturing company.” The expansion is expected to be completed this month. Upon competition, HAHN will be looking to fill 20 new full-time jobs. For more information on HAHN Automation, visit http://www.hahnautomation.com/en.
