(Whitewater Township, Oh.) - Two men with dozens of fake tickets for Thursday night’s Bengals and Browns football game were busted in Whitewater Township. Hamilton County Sheriff Jim Neil said the 60 phony tickets and 20 fake parking passes were discovered during a traffic stop on Interstate 74 on Wednesday. Sheriff's office agents with the Regional Narcotics Highway Interdiction Unit located drug paraphernalia in the car before they also happened upon the counterfeit NFL tickets. Some tickets were also for the Indianapolis Colts’ home game versus the Denver Broncos on Sunday. "The counterfeit tickets hold a face value (if they were legitimate) of $8045, however for 'sold out' games like this Thursday these criminals likely would have scammed buyers out of much more. This is a friendly warning to do your homework before buying tickets so you're not a victim and unhappy fan turned away at the gate," the sheriff's office said. The two men arrested are Glenn Poindexter, of the Bronx, New York, and Bruce Suares, of Engelwood, New Jersey. They were arrested and charged with felony Criminal Simulation and Forgery.
