Batesville Marching Band Takes 2nd at State Finals

(Batesville, Ind.) - The Batesville Marching Band is no stranger to competing at the State Finals. 

They made a return to the ISSMA Scholastic B State Finals for the second year in a row on Saturday at Franklin Central High School. This time the Batesville Marching Band brought home a second-place finish. 

Scholastic B Top 5

1. Wawasee High School - Syracuse
2. Batesville High School
3. Eastern High School - Pekin
4. Shawe Memorial High School - Madison
5. Norwell High School - Ossian
5. Eastern High School - Greentown

Batesville has three more big performances this calendar year. The first is this Saturday at East Central High School at 4:10 PM. On November 8, the Bulldogs will be at the MSBA Class AA Championships at Miamisburg High School (OH) at 3:00 PM. Batesville will also compete on November 13 at the Bands of America Grand National Championships at Lucas Oil Stadium at 3:45 PM.

East Central's Marching Band also competed at the State Finals. They did not place in the Scholastic A Finals.
