Christopher Thompson was arrested May 9 after Aurora Police located heroin, syringes, cash and a ledger in a vehicle which Thompson was driving. Thompson, 26, of Milan, pleaded guilty to Dealing in a Narcotic Drug (level 4 felony) and Operating While Intoxicated (class A misdemeanor) in Dearborn Superior Court II Thursday. As part of the deal, prosecutors agreed to drop several other charges. Judge Sally McLaughlin sentenced Thompson to six years in prison and six years on probation on the dealing charge. He received one year for the OWI conviction, which will be serve concurrently, or at the same time. Thompson received credit for 192 good time days served in jail since his arrest. McLaughlin allowed Thompson to be eligible for a purposeful incarceration program while he is behind bars with the Indiana Department of Corrections.
