Rising Sun Schools Superintendent To Retire

(Rising Sun, Ind.) - The superintendent of Rising Sun-Ohio County Schools is preparing to retire.

Steve Patz submitted his notice of retirement to the school district Board of Trustees on June 11, according to unofficial minutes of the school board on the district’s website.

Patz will stay on the job through next school year, then step down June 30, 2014.

In other school administrator changes, the board is making changes to the principal position at Ohio County Elementary Middle School and Rising Sun High School.
