Lawrenceburg Transforms to Winter Wonderland Dec. 1

You are invited to the annual Mayor's Reception and Tree Lighting Ceremony.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – 

The Mayor’s Reception and Christmas Tree Lighting takes place on Sunday, December 1 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Festivities begin at the Clock Tower at the end of Walnut Street with a performance from the Cincinnati Brass Band, hor d’oeuvres and refreshments, LMS ornaments, and a preview of the Central Elementary School Christmas Essay Contest.

At 6:45, attendees will take a short walk to Civic Park. The Mayor’s Welcome and Lighting of the Christmas Tree will follow at 7:00 p.m.

The event will be rounded out with the announcement of the Christmas Essay winners, serving of hot chocolate and sugar cookie, a Tiger Pizzazz Christmas Caroling.
