Engaged Former SD Knights Earn Scholar-Athlete Honors At IU East

Kyle Hall and Alexis Brasier. Photo courtesy IU East Athletics. (Richmond, Ind.) – Two collegiate student-athletes from Dillsboro have been recognized for their excellence in the classroom. Indiana University East juniors Kyle Hall and Alexis Brasier and South Dearborn High School graduates represented the Red Wolves track and field program on the sport’s 2015 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete list. In order to be nominated, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, and must have achieved a junior academic status. Brasier and Hall also represented IU East on the cross country Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete list this past season.  They are the only IU East athletes to earn scholar-athlete honors in both sports. Brasier is currently study as a Business Administration major with a Marketing minor.  Hall is a Criminal Justice major. The are set to tie the knot in the near future.
