Press release from Dearborn County Treasurer (Dearborn County, Ind.) - The 2017 Property Tax Bills are being mailed. If you are responsible for paying property tax and did not receive your statement(s), please contact our office immediately at 812-537-8811 or email bscherzinger@dearborncounty.in.org. The Spring tax installment is due Wednesday, May 10th. You may pay your property tax in one of the following ways: In person at the Treasurer’s Office Monday – Friday from 8:30 – 4:30 with extended hours on May 10 until 5:30 p.m. By mail postmarked by May 10th to Dearborn Co. Treasurer, 215-B W. High St., Lawrenceburg, IN Enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope if you would like your receipt returned. After office hours by using our drop-box located outside of Administration Building by the wooden steps leading into the County Administration Building by May 10th. Enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope if you would like your receipt returned. Please, do not leave cash. By credit card by visiting the county website at dearborncounty.org. Go to the “Treasurer’s Page” under “Taxes” and on the left side of the page select “Property Tax Payment Options” under “Topics of Interest”. Please remember the Courthouse is under construction and parking is premium, handicap parking is located along William Street and enter through the back door of Administration building.
