Kroger's $60 Million Distribution Center In Florence Will Create 100+ Jobs

By Travis Thayer (Florence, Ky.) -  The City of Florence will soon be home to a new Kroger distribution center. Kroger Co. recently invested approximately $60 million towards the development of a 674,000-square-foot distribution center on E. Mount Zion Road in Florence. The Cincinnati Business Courier reports that Kroger will use the facility as a replenishment center for the grocery chain’s distribution centers on the east coast. The new replenishment center is expected to open this year, and will create approximately 100 new jobs. Kroger employs more than 430,000 people across the country. Here in the tri-state, that includes about 20,000 employees.
