Jadyn Erin Larky was the child killed during a thunderstorm early Tuesday morning at Camp Livingston in Bennington. A prayer vigil was held last night in Larky’s hometown of Bexley, Ohio. Larky’s services are planned for Thursday. The services are private. Her family is asking that donations be made to the Jadyn Larky Camp Scholarship Fund in care of the Columbus Jewish Foundation. Larkey’s younger sister was also at the camp. It is unclear if she was in the same cabin that was struck by the falling tree. The Switzerland County Sheriff’s Office says other children and staff who were in that cabin were not seriously injured. Camp Livingston is a summer camp for Jewish children located on Nell Lee Road in Switzerland County. It has been operating for more than 90 years.
