(Aurora, IN) - South Dearborn High School Community Service Day took place this past Friday. Main Street Aurora has been sponsoring this day since it began in 2014. Main Street Aurora partners with Aurora Utilities, Aurora Street Department, and Aurora Parks & Recreation.

Nine South Dearborn High School faculty members along with 80 students volunteered. To help them with their effort, 17 Civista Bank employees and many community volunteers participated as well.

They all worked together to clean up the city in different places like ball fields, Hillforest, River View Cemetery, and City Clerk Treasurers Office.

They worked from eight-thirty in the morning until two in the afternoon, with an hour break for some food and tunes. This effort resulted in hundreds of volunteer hours.
