Eagle Salutes presented by US Army

Eagle Country 99.3 salutes the brave men and women of our military who protect our freedoms and safety at home and abroad, and local responders who protect our safety at home daily. Each week, Eagle Country 99.3 will randomly select a serviceman or woman, or local first responder, for on-air recognition during Eagle Salutes, presented by U.S. Army.

Nominate your favorite serviceman or woman using the nomination form below.

The nominee does not need to be a relative. You can submit a friend, neighbor, classmate, etc. The only requirement is that the person is on active duty or currently serving in the United States military or local first responder (police, fire, EMS).

Once you’ve submitted a nomination, listen to Eagle Country 99.3 each Thursday at 3:30 p.m. to find out if your nominee is recognized. We’ll also share each week’s honoree on this webpage and social media.

Eagle Country 99.3 Salutes is presented by U.S. Army Recruiting. Visit the local recruiting office at 211 Walnut Street in Lawrenceburg, Indiana or call (812) 209-8208. You can also find them on Facebook.

  • The Witches of Breakout

The Witches National Convention was held in our room last night! We found out that they made plans to turn everyone who isn't a witch into a black cat or a bat. They locked the spell they need in the Breakout EDU box. The Spell was written in magic ink, and if it stays in the box for more than 45 minutes, it will be cast! If we can open the box before the 45 minutes are up, contact with air will break the spell. Work together to unlock the boxes and undo the magic of the Witches of Breakout! Registration required; limited spots available for individuals and groups. Must register: www.lpld.lib.in.us/calendar. 5 p.m. & 7 p.m. (two sessions) Friday, Oct. 22, Lawrenceburg Main Library. 812-537-2775. Tweens and Teens. Free.
