Indiana Man Picked Up In Ohio After Failing To Register As Sex Offender

(Dearborn County, Ind.) – An Indiana man has been arrested after failing to register as a sex offender.  

Joshua Steelsmith was taken into custody Friday in Springdale, Ohio, on a warrant out of Dearborn County, reports The Enquirer.

Steelsmith could face up to 10 years in jail for knowingly failing to register as a sex offender before traveling over state lines.

This isn’t the first time Steelsmith has failed to register as a sex offender. He also failed to do so in 2016. In addition, Steelsmith was charged with child exploitation in 2007.
