We invite you to our Kindergarten and Preschool registration on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Milan Elementary School for
kindergarten students who will be five years old on or before August 1, 2019.
For your convenience there will be several sessions during which children may be registered and/or screened. Sessions will begin at 8:30 a.m. that morning and continue throughout the day in half-hour increments (8:30, 9:00, 9:30, etc.) with the final session beginning at 4:00 p.m. You are asked to call the school at 654-2922 to indicate which session you and your child will be attending.
PLEASE BRING WITH YOU:
- Birth certificate and immunization record with you that day.
- Names and phone numbers of your child’s doctor and dentist
- Names and phone numbers of three people (other than the parents) who could be contacted in case of an emergency.
- A physical and dental exam are also required to be completed before school starts in August.
****Children are not “fully” registered until these items are on file.
Preschool students who will be four years old on or before August 1, 2019.
All 2019 Kindergarten and preschool classes will be full-day classes meeting every day, Monday-Friday, following the Milan Community School Corporation annual calendar.
Students are eligible for all programs including lunch & book assistance.
It is IMPORTANT that you be here ready to begin at the time your session starts.If a parent cannot attend with the child, another adult designated by the parent must be present as a great deal of important information and paperwork is given out during the enrollment session. The registration process also includes a brief screening session for students entering kindergarten which brings the total registration time for Kindergarten students to about 1 hour. Registration for preschool students will take about half an hour.
