Do you have diabetes, have someone in your family with diabetes, or simply want to start healthier habits? If so, Purdue Extension has a great program for you beginning Tuesday, January 25th! The program runs for 4 weeks until February 15th. Then, on May 12th will be a 3 month follow-up. You can join 10-12 or 6-8 PM via Zoom. Once, enrolled more information will be shared with you.
Dining with Diabetes is a series of 5 sessions including a 3 month follow up session. The educational program will teach you how to prepare meals that are healthy, easy to prepare and taste good. Participants will also learn up-to-date information on nutrition, meal planning, exercise and how to understand common diabetes-related medical tests. Recipes will be demonstrated. For $40 per person or $65 per couple, you will receive class materials, recipes, and exercises.

The Lawrenceburg American Legion Post 239 will now have food provided by Delishious Creations serving this menu every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 11-7.
