Ralph St. John, 72, of Versailles passed away Saturday, October 31, 2009 at the Margaret Mary Community Hospital in Batesville.
He was born at Burning Springs, Kentucky on June 9, 1937 the son of Everett and Myrtle Robinson St. John.
He was married to Betty Noel on April 5, 2000 and she survives.
Other survivors include one son Ralph (Mary) St. John, Jr. of Villa Hills, Kentucky; one daughter Wendy (Willie) Kocher of Harrison, Ohio; four grandchildren; his mother-in-law Mary Folsom of Versailles; one step-daughter Carol Fugate of Osgood; one sister Geneva Grubbs of Harrison, Ohio; four brothers Ronnie St. John and Raymond St. John both of West Harrison, Fred St. John of Harrison, Ohio, and E.J. St. John of Berea, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Glenn.
Mr. St. John was employed with Nine West US Shoe in Harrison, Ohio and Osgood from 1957 until his retirement in 2000. He was a member of the Versailles Lions Club and Osgood F&AM #603.
Masonic services will be held Tuesday, November 3rd beginning at 12pm followed by funeral services with Rev. Russell Stephens of the Tanglewood Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Tanglewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 10am until time of services.
Memorials may be given to the Versailles Lions Club or the Osgood Masonic Lodge in care of the funeral home.
