Lawrence Barnes, Jr., 61, of Hebron, died Friday, June 27 at St. Luke West Hospital in Florence. He was a Bookkeeper with Skilcraft LLC in Burlington. He was the former owner of B&M Implement Sales in Hebron.

He attended Sand Run Baptist Church and was a member of the Dearborn County Farm Club.

He is survived by his son, Larry James (Christina) Barnes of Aurora, Indiana; daughter, Shavanah Marie Barnes of Burlington; and mother, Dortha (Mobley) Barnes Whittaker of Hebron.

He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Lawrence Barnes.

Memorials are suggested to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, 8041 Hosbrook Road, Cincinnati OH 45236.

Visitation will be Tuesday July 1, 2008 , 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron.

Funeral service will be Wednesday July 2, 2008 , 11:00 am at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron.

Dorothy Morris, 83, passed away at her home on Thursday, June 26.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Morris, her mother, Mary Morris, and her father Merida Morris.

She is survided by 3 children, Claude Morris Sr.(Moores Hill) Robert Morris (Milan),and Phyllis White (Moores Hill). She is also survided by 3 sisters, Faye Morris(Milton,IN), Della Newkirk (Middletown, OH), and Doris Johnson(Breathitt County, KY). Dorothy is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandaughter. Dorothy was a member of the Moores Hill Church of Christ.

Visitation will be held at the Moores Hill Church of Christ Sunday evening, 6:00-8:00 p.m. and the funeral will follow Monday morning at 10:00 a.m.
