Walton Fire Destroys Deputy's Home Posted at 10:00 am on Monday, November 2, 2009 by Mike Perleberg (Walton, KY) - The Walton home of a Boone County Sheriff's deputy is leveled by fire. A neighbor reported the blaze at a home on Misty Wood Court around noon on Sunday. Two nearby homes were damaged by the heat of the fire when their siding began to melt. Nobody was home at the time. No injuries were reported. A cause of the fire is still being investigated. The home is considered a complete loss.
