(Florence, Ky.) – A semi trailer loaded with pharmaceuticals was stolen from the Interstate 75 rest stop near Florence last Wednesday.

Florence Police say the load was worth several million dollars.

The truck driver had gone to use the bathroom at the rest area off northbound I-75 around 10:00 p.m. When he came back out, the truck was gone.

Police found the truck cab off of I-275 in Greendale on Friday, but the trailer was nowhere to be found.

Florence Police have not made any arrests and are still investigating. Federal investigators are likely to get involved.
