(Versailles, Ind.) - A fire in Ripley County last weekend now appears to be arson.

Pat’s Bulk Food Store on U.S. 421 at the intersection with County Road 450 South just south of Versailles was badly damaged by the fire Saturday morning.

Now, fire investigators say the blaze was deliberately set by somebody who had burglarized the store.

The Indiana State Fire Marshal is investigating. An Indiana State Police crime scene technician was at the scene helping collect evidence on Saturday.
