(Versailles, Ind.) - A Ripley County business was destroyed by fire over the weekend.

Versailles firefighters were dispatched to Pat's Bulk Food at 4492 U.S. 421 around 8:00 a.m. Saturday.

Nobody was inside the building when the blaze broke out say firefighters. There were no injuries reported.

A cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Versailles Fire was assisted at the scene by departments from Osgood, Friendship, and New Marion.

The fire resulted in U.S. 421 being closed for several hours.
