(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Perfect North Slopes is getting ready for the 2010-2011 ski season.

On Friday, the ski area began making its first batches of snow using its snow machines according to Ellen Perfect.

Perfect North typically aims to open in late November or early December, depending on weather.

Some northern parts of our listening area saw the first real snowflakes of the season on Friday night. It was mixed with rain and did not accumulate.
