(Erlanger, Ky.) – Reports say around 60 acres were torched by an overnight brush fire in Erlanger.

The blaze began around 9:05 p.m. Monday near Shelbourne Drive at Richardson Road.

A nearby subdivision was threatened but firefighters from several area departments were able to keep the flames away from the homes.

The Kentucky Enquirer reports the fire was set intentionally and a suspect has been identified.
