(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – A possible new home development in Dearborn County cannot go forward.

The Dearborn County Plan Commission denied a request for primary platt approval for the 19-lot subdivision project on Georgetown Road in Miller Township, adjacent to homes in Hidden Valley. Mason, Ohio-based Bayer Becker is the developer applying with the commission.

The property is zoned for residential, but the commission unanimously denied the request on Monday citing a lack of guaranteed water service for the development.
