There are a handful of Halloween-themed event going on in various parts of southeast Indiana.
A paranormal ghost hunting team will be at Hillforest Victorian House Museum in Aurora. The Spiritual H.O.P.E Society paranormal investigation team will conduct a program explaining how paranormal investigations are performed, the instruments that are used to capture evidence, and will present actual “evidence” caught by the team within Hillforest’s walls.
The event is $20 per person and reservations must be made by calling (812) 926-0087 or go to www.hillforest.org.
Aurora Fire Rescue will have their own haunted house with “real” monsters on Friday and Saturday from 7:00 to 10:30 p.m. The Nightmare on Volunteer Drive is located at the Aurora Firehouse on Dutch Hollow Road off of U.S. 50. Admission is $5.
Little ghouls and goblins can run amuck on Saturday as the Ohio County Historical Society and Rising Sun Police Department partner to present the Nightmare on Walnut Street. Admission is $5 for children 18 and under, but adults get in free. The admission includes tickets for games and trick-or-treating.
